Gidi Gov will have a jazz performance on Monday, March 29th, accompanied by Yisrael Nahum (drums), Alon Nadel (bass), Amos Hadani (guitar) and Adi Renert (keyboards), who also wrote the arrangements. The concert will take place in the Camelot Heineken club at 22:15.
There were some mistakes in the earlier posting regarding Kaveret's USA tour below. Please read it again for the correct dates. The information was verified by Efraim Shamir and Meir Fenigstein's Israfest organization.
Yitzhak Klapter is playing a dramatic role in Haim Bouzaglo's new TV series "Zinzana", now in editing stages. Among the other co-stars are Natali Atia and Ayelet Zorer. Klapter and Bouzaglo have cooperated before in the latter's film "Fictitious Marriage" (Nisu'im Fiktivim) in 1988, for which Klapter wrote the soundtrack.
Apparently, the special performance by Danny Sanderson, Gidi Gov, Alon Oleartchik, Efraim Shamir and Mazi Cohen, which was written about in an earlier posting, was not open to the public and was sold in advance.
Efraim Shamir is working on a new album these days.
He's now in recording stages, together with the following musicians: Alon
Adler (guitar), Moshe Davidson (bass), Ely Srugo (drums) and Jean Paul Zimbris
(drums). No records label has yet bought the future album.
